Dr. Bruce’s Animal Hospital provides hospitalization on a limited basis to ensure that your pet receives the best possible care. Pets that have illnesses, or are recovering from surgery may be able to stay overnight in the facility. This depends on their specific condition. All cases will be discussed with you prior to making a decision. For pets that are not stable enough to stay overnight without 24 hour supervision, we have collaborated with several 24 hour hospitals located within a few minutes of our facility. Again, this would be discussed with the owner prior to making the transfer.
Also, Dr. Bruce’s Animal Hospital provides limited day and overnight boarding. Any pet that will be boarded needs to provide proof of vaccinations. If this is not available, then we will discuss with the owner what specific vaccines are needed and administer those vaccines as needed.
